Prepositions are undeclinable words.
They are usually followed by a noun in the
accusative case, with which they form a
prepositional phrase.
The simple and most common prepositions
are: σε (in, at, to, on), από (from, since),
για (for, about), με (with).
Ο Σαχίνης προχωράει / πηγαίνει
κατευθύνεται προς / για το περίπτερο
Ο Σαχίνης φεύγει / αποχωρεί /
απομακρύνεται από το περίπτερο

(Simple prepositions)
The meaning of these prepositions depends
on the meaning of the verb, the complement
noun and the contextual situation.
For example the preposition σε is used for
a wide range of meanings (place, direction,
time).
Στις 12 το βράδυ ο Σαχίνης πηγαίνει στο
γραφείο του. Κοιτάζει τα μηνύματα στον
υπολογιστή και παίρνει την Αγκάθα στο
τηλέφωνο. Ξαφνικά ακούει βήματα στις
σκάλες και θυμάται ότι το όπλο του δεν
είναι στο συρτάρι
Ο Σαχίνης φτάνει / γυρίζει στο σπίτι
Ο Σαχίνης βρίσκεται / μένει / είναι στο σπίτι
