The "Education of the Greek Diaspora" project was funded by the Greek Ministry of Education and the European Union under the Community Support Framework (CSF) and was implemented in four consecutive phases during the period 1997-2008. The aim of the project was to improve Greek-language education abroad through four blocks of activities:

a) development of teaching material,

b) teacher training programs

c) educational programs for students, and

d) creation of communication networks among Greek diasporic communities and Greece.
