Adjectives showing the three-gender distinction belong to the following groups:

In here belong adjectives: denoting
colour property like πορτοκαλής,
a small number denoting dimensions
or other “sense-perceived”
quality: πλατύς, μακρύς, βαθύς,
ελαφρύς
ending in: -άρης, -ούλης, or compounds
ending in -μάλλης, -πόδης, -μάτης,
In here belong adjectives
-μύτης, -χέρης and so on, or one of the
following list: τεμπέλης,
τσιγκούνης, κουτσομπόλης,
κατσούφης
Adjectives decline like nouns (see nouns).
•The feminine forms in -α (νέα, βαθιά,
πορτοκαλιά, ζηλιάρα) or -η (καλή) decline
like nouns in -α (ομάδα) or -η (νίκη)
respectively. However adjectives like
ζηλιάρα have no genitive plural.
•The masculine and neuter forms in -oς
/ -o, including neuters like ζηλιάρικο,
decline like δρόμος and βουνό. Neuters in
-i- (βαθύ, πορτοκαλί) decline like παιδί.
•Masculine forms like ζηλιάρης decline
like ταξιτζής.
